Cycle Stockport is trying to improve cycling conditions in Stockport

We provide information on Cycling and in return

we hope you will join us through our Yahoo Groups Web Site.

You will be asked to create a Yahoo Groups Identity - name or pen name, and a password for this site; this will allow you to apply to join any number of Groups, in this case Cycle Stockport.

You will also have the opportunity to provide an email address at which you can send and receive messages without having to visit the Web Site. Your application will then have to be approved which, as we are a voluntary organisation, may take a few days - sometimes we take a holiday.

Once approved you can then access the various facilities offered on the Cycle Stockport Yahoo Groups site. NB unacceptable messages can be deleted by the administrator, and the sender removed from the Group if necessary.

The Message Board can be used to enquire or tell us about any aspect of cycling,

It is used to provide further information that may be relevant at the time. Messages can be on any cycling related matter so, for example, if you want to cycle round the world or learn how to fix your gears, then perhaps there is someone in Stockport who can help you.

The Calendar can be used to publicise your events or find out what is going on in the local cycling world. There is also a Photo section where you can publish photographs of cycling scenes or bad road conditions.

Cycle Stockport representatives attend regular meetings with Stockport MBC's Cycle User Group.

Anyone can attend these meetings, however Cycle Stockport needs to keep up to date with cycling conditions within Stockport if we are going to be able to discuss things properly and with a single objective.

We cannot know all that is happening or needs attention without your help.
